At REC Impact, we recognize the power of young entrepreneurs in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future. That’s why we’ve established “The Nursery” - a dedicated space designed to nurture student startups emerging from the UvA entrepreneurship ecosystem.

By providing access to a collaborative and professional environment, we encourage knowledge exchange and support the development of student startups. Our space is designed to enable students to refine their ideas, build meaningful connections, and lay the foundation for long-term success.

Eligibility criteria for joining The Nursery

• Student Startup: Your startup must be a student startup with at least one UvA student in the team
• Team Presence: The core team, consisting of up to 4 members (no individual applicants), must work on-site at REC Impact.
• Time Commitment: The team can utilize the workspace for a maximum of 12 hours per week.
• Duration: Participation is limited to one semester (September–January or February–June).
• Workspace Maintenance: Ensure the space is kept clean and coordinate with the REC Impact team for any special requests.
• Event Spaces: Event spaces are not available for free use.
• Community Contribution: Be listed on the REC Impact speakers/matching list
