Booking your event space

Want to rent The Floor for your event?

A professional team is ready to support and assist you with organising your event. We would be happy to discuss your needs during a no-obligation intake meeting on location.

Audiovisual support (A/V)

The Floor has 3 TV screens with sound that can be connected to your computer, and 2 microphones. Do you have any special AV, streaming, or technical requirements for your event? If so, please contact events-recimpact@uva.nl.

Catering

Our partner Coffee Star can provide catering for your event – from coffee with croissants in the morning to drinks, snacks, and sweet treats in the afternoon.

You can request catering directly no later than 48 hours before your event via uvarec-jk@coffee-star.nl. You can find more information about the catering on their website. The café is also located on the ground floor of the REC JK building.

Rental rates

The UvA rental rate is €750.00 per half day (max. 4 hours).
The external rental rate is €907.50 per half day (max. 4 hours).

This includes:

  • 90 chairs, 3 bar tables, 2 coat racks, 16 tables, side table
  • 3 TV screens
  • 1 QSC camera with optional zoom for recording and/or broadcasting events and meetings
  • Set-up and take-down
  • Post-event cleaning

If you require additional furniture or special audiovisual support, extra costs will apply.
