Our story
Roeterseilandcampus (REC) offers the largest cluster of social sciences in the Netherlands. The faculty of Economics and Business, the faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences and the Law School are situated at Roeterseiland, alongside the student cultural organisation CREA and the University of Amsterdam Ventures Holding. The three faculties are committed to research and collaboration, entrepreneurship and contributing knowledge and resources to society.
The J-K Building
A former lab for physics, the J-K building is transformed into the home of REC Impact where Innovation and Impact converge. At REC Impact, we believe in the power of collaboration and innovation to address societal challenges. Our impact hub is a dynamic space where visionary thinkers, social entrepreneurs, and creative problem-solvers come together to create positive change in the world.
